PHILIPPE LEGAULT, B. Sc. RI., MBA, CRIA
With a B.A. in Industrial Relations and an M.A. in Business Administration, Philippe Legault has over 15 years of experience as a generalist in human resources management and labour relations, primarily in the mining and forestry industries.
At the start of his career, he worked as a labour relations advisor when the Louvicourt Mine was started up and during the first few years it was in operation. Following this, he switched to the forestry sector where he held a succession of positions, specifically Superintendent of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources for Canada, with Industries Norbord, as well as Director of Human Resources for the Panel Group at Uniboard Canada.
In recent years, he has been involved in negotiating collective agreements in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes, and has advised human resource managers and supervisors for several plants.
He has worked as a consultant since 2004 and deals primarily with labour relations, consulting for human resources management and the management of occupational health and safety.
